The perfect location was given — and we made the dream come true. We opened our restaurant in 2018, right next to St. Stephen’s Basilica, in the historic Marczibányi Palace. Since then, La Fabbrica has become one of downtown Budapest’s favorite meeting spots.
Our Italian cuisine has gradually expanded towards Mediterranean flavors and atmospheres, while preserving the authentic traditions. Our kitchen is led by chef János Zsoldos, who focuses on fresh ingredients, harmonious flavors, and a high-quality gastronomic experience in every dish.
Our menu features the defining tastes of Mediterranean cuisine, but it’s also the perfect place for anyone craving an authentic Italian pizza or pasta.
Alongside our kitchen, the bar plays an equally important role — it has become the true heart of La Fabbrica. The carefully curated cocktail selection and premium drink list offer not only classic flavors but also bold, modern creations.In 2019, at the Bar Show, our bar was recognized among the “Top 3 New Bars of the Year,” an award that continues to inspire us to keep evolving and deliver the best possible experience to our guests.
